Maurizio Casasco re-elected President of the European Federation of Sports Medicine Associations

On 26 September 2025, the EFSMA Council of Delegates met in Bucharest, Romania, to elect the new Executive Committee for the 2025-2029 term, during the 13th European Congress of Sports Medicine.

Prof. Maurizio Casasco, Chairman of the FIMS Development Commission, was re-elected as EFSMA President.

Among the Elected Officials, Prof. Sandra Rozenstoka, Member of the FIMS Scientific Commission and Director of the Riga Collaborating Centre for Sports Medicine, was elected Secretary General. Additionally, two members of the FIMS Executive Committee were elected: Prof. Anca Ionescu as First Vice-President and Prof. Pedro Manonelles as Treasurer.
